Hey Everyone! I know I've been in and out of DA for a year, but let me take this opportunity to thank anyone and all who still support me, I truly love you guys

I've finally decided to stop putting off this manga series that's been in development for 2 years. I procrastinated working on drawing everything and showing it off in fear of "not being good enough compared to so many artists here". I've always known, but now I've forced myself to recognize that I shouldn't put such a mental block on myself by comparing my skills, experience, age, etc. to other artists so obsessively that it gets in the way of my trying to improve and refine my style.

I am now finished with drawing the first issue of my manga series. I'm now in the process of coloring, editing, lettering, and layout. After that I'm going to send it off to a printing press. I'm only printing a few for sale so maybe when I release it to the public I'll make a contest where someone can win a copy.

Anyway, once I'm done with the whole process I'll put up samples of the first issue on DA before I send it to print. Along the way I'll put up stuff on DA like character sketches, character bios, cover designs, a finished scene or two, etc.

In Other News

I'm going to be sooo busy starting next month! Full-time & Part-time jobs, Full-time school, my birthday (June 6), and my manga.

Finances are keeping Ryan and I from putting even a penny in our savings, I'm sure all of you may be going through this too We'd be very well off right now if it weren't for our former roommates putting us through all sorts of obnoxious bullshit. Sigh, after 8 months of dealing with them we've finally paid off the last bill they racked up in our name, moved out, and have officially cut off any ties we may have with them. Our new roomies are an older couple (in their 50s) but they pay bills on time, are fair about everything, respectful, very responsible and overall pleasant to cohabit with... all the things that our former cows... er, smartass fruitcake... er, roommates weren't. The former roomies are horrible, they treated the roomies that replaced us the same as they treated us which was pretending to be considerate friends and fair for a few months then completely putting us into debt because of their irresponsibility. I mean, I know we have our things-that-make-us-annoying, but nothing as extreme as what they've done: Blasting the tv on at 7am at its highest setting to get back at me for making a joke (a damn harmless joke, and I said it in a sweet voice to the dog while I was petting him and the she-cow just overheard from behind me) the previous night about the cow not feeding their dog leading to their dog stealing all of our dog's food, trying to pawn our stuff to pay their parts of the bills, the she-cow getting violently upset (I mean, throwing things at her bedroom walls that night and banging on our wall for an hour the next morning) at us when Ryan, myself, and our friend Shawn were watching TV when she came home and wanted to use it (but get this, she has the exact same 50inch plasma tv with the exact same satellite features as ours in her rooom... and yes, her tv works because she marched in her room after seeing us on RYAN AND MY TV, and full-blasted her tv. Oh wait, that's not all: Barging into our bedroom 6am while we were still asleep to throw down stuff they were hiding from us saying "there's your shit", misusing all our cookware and not washing them and often breaking and never replacing them, giving Ryan a hard time at school with all their little friends burning bridges with him and going up to him saying things like Ryan and I need to stop getting on the roomies' nerves and forcing the roomies to stay at their apartments when power's off. Complete high school bullshit, GRR! Ryan and I have never missed a power bill or rent. Ever. We were always putting aside our credit card bills, car payments, or a medical bill to cover their slack. And the one time we refused to pay their way and only sent in our portion of the bill (because it was a $1600 statement with $800 in security deposits and past due payments) they turned Ryan's entire tiny school against us, try to pawn our tv, etc. When they were staying with (what we believed to be) mutual friends while the power was off, they took all of THEIR groceries to put in their friends' fridge and left ours to rot, and left Ryan's insulin to spoil... that's $600 worth of medicine that my fiance's life depends on! He was without fresh insulin and was pumping bad medicine into his veins for 3 weeks! When we finally gathered up the courage to ask my mom to give us money she didn't have to buy a bottle of insulin, he had to ration it out for an extra week till I could earn the $1600 to bring power back. Ryan couldn't work cuz he was too weak to move more than a few feet for a month and a half. UGH! How are there people like this who don't give a shit about someone's health and can see them suffering? Of course they didn't care, they were staying comfortably at a friend's house with all their groceries and were just laughing their asses off while I was working mine off to pay their way so that Ryan and I could survive. As you can tell, I'm not done being angry about it all -.-

Both of their new roomies that replaced us moved out two months after and called us to say, "I see why you moved out" and one even explained that our old masterbedroom that they promised for him to get, became the fruitcake's and his boyfriend's. New roomie and his girlfriend had to move into one of two single bedrooms... the fruitcake's former bedroom. The explanation for that was since it's a masterbedroom new roomie would have to pay extra for it and the cows joined in on that lie, to the new roomie, saying that they've been paying an extra $100/mo. for their masterberoom. So, I'm willing to bet that fruitcake didn't like that Ryan and I had the masterbedroom, especially after fruitcake started dating someone recently. It was probably his plan to run us out of there for his own sake. Why didn't he run out the cows then, if he wanted a masterbedroom? Well, The man-cow is the best student in their class who's about to be well connected in the field. Fruitcake is probably leeching onto him to get a business opportunity. Plus man-cow and she-demon-cow are total suck-ups to fruitcake since he's "the most popular" person in school. Yeah, see? High school bullshit. They're the same age as Ryan and I but man the cows need to get some self-esteem and they ALL need to fuckin grow up and cut this self-absorbed bullshit otherwise they'll just end up fuckin themselves over. But whatever, I'm tired of giving people like that benefit of the doubt and thinking they're good people at the core... hell no! I don't find myself TRULY hating or wishing bad things on anyone in my life, but yes... I very much wish bad things on them and if or when they do happen I really hope they will look back at our situation and learn that what they did was oh so wrong and feel bad and maybe be compelled to alter their mindset for the better. Sigh geez, in the end I am incapable of truly wishing bad things on people... I gotta have them get something positive out of it anyways XD
